Join us for Mission College's 4th annual Equity MINDset Conference, proudly sponsored by the Mental Health & Wellness Committee and the Office of Student Equity & Success. This transformative event aims to create spaces for raising awareness and reflection on critical issues impacting mental health, racial equity, and intersectionality.
We extend a warm invitation to our entire campus community, fostering meaningful dialogue among students, staff, faculty, and administrators. This year's theme, "Normalizing Conversations on Mental Health with Men of Color," spotlights keynote speaker Dr. Matthew Smith. As the Associate Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Student Services at CSU Dominguez Hills, Dr. Smith brings valuable insights as the co-founder of the CSU Young Males of Color Consortium.
We eagerly anticipate the engagement of administrators, classified professionals, faculty, and students in this impactful convening. Together, we aim to deepen our understanding of the experiences of our Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) males, fostering continuous improvement within our institution.
