We are thrilled to announce that we have officially set the date for our inaugural TEDx event at Mission College.
TEDx is a program of independently organized events licensed by TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design), a global media organization known for its conferences featuring short, impactful talks by experts and thought leaders from various fields. TEDx events are organized at the local level by individuals or groups who obtain a license from TED.
These events follow the same format as TED talks but are organized independently and often focus on specific themes, issues, or communities.
TEDx events provide a platform for speakers to share their ideas, experiences, and expertise in short, engaging presentations that are usually limited to 18 minutes or less.
The "x" in TEDx stands for "independently organized," and TEDx events can cover a wide range of topics, from science and technology to arts and culture, and they occur in cities and communities around the world.
